Denise Edenfield, was a born designer.

For over 39 years she has utilized her talents and

entrepreneurial spirit to run 9 home interior stores,

a mall and restaurant, and to create hundreds of

gorgeous, functional, family friendly homes.

With the belief that our home is one of the most

important spaces in our life, she blends her skills

together with the lifestyle and desires of her clients

to create beautiful, liveable spaces with

calming vibes and undeniable character.

Some people see a room.

Denise sees possibility.

Some people see an old dresser.

She sees the beginning of something beautiful.

Some people walk into a house exactly as it is.

Denise has spent more than forty years imagining what it could become.

For Denise, design isn't simply a career—it is the way she moves through life.

Whether she's transforming a forgotten piece of furniture, designing a home, or creating one of her signature shops, she sees possibilities where others see only what already exists. Creating beautiful spaces isn't something she learned to do. It's simply who she's always been.

After opening nine successful shops throughout her career and building an interior design business that has transformed homes for decades, Denise is now bringing her tenth shop to St. Simons Island.

But ask Denise what has kept her passionate about design for more than forty years, and the conversation quickly moves beyond furniture, fabrics and paint colors.

She'll begin talking about people.

"Whether it's a home, a piece of furniture, or one of my shops, I've always wanted people to walk in and immediately feel something. I want them to feel inspired, comfortable, and surrounded by the kind of beauty that brings peace and joy to everyday life."

For Denise, design has never been about decorating a room.

It's about changing the way people experience home.

Over the years, Denise has worked with clients on everything from simple design consultations to complete home remodels, helping families reimagine not only individual rooms but the way they live in their homes.

Long before coastal interiors became one of today's most recognizable design styles, Denise was creating relaxed, timeless homes layered with texture, warmth and character. She believes a home should tell the story of the people who live there rather than look like a page copied from a catalog.

That same philosophy is reflected in every piece found in her shops.

Rather than filling it with mass-produced furniture, Denise searches for exceptional pieces with beautiful bones—pieces others have overlooked or passed by. Each one is thoughtfully reimagined, redesigned and refinished into something completely unique.

No two pieces are ever alike.

"They already have a story," Denise says. "I simply help them begin a new one."

Although her one-of-a-kind furniture appeals to those who appreciate custom design, Denise believes beautiful homes shouldn't be reserved only for those furnishing luxury homes.

"I want people to know that good design is for everyone," she says. "A home doesn't have to be expensive to be beautiful."

Throughout Denise's career, many of her interior design clients first discovered her simply by walking into one of her shops.

They may have come looking for a coffee table or a lamp.

Instead, they found themselves saying the same thing:

"I wish my home felt like this."

That simple sentence often became the beginning of a design relationship .Because Denise doesn't simply create beautiful things. She sees possibilities.

People often walk into one of her spaces believing their homes could never feel as warm, inviting or beautiful as the one surrounding them. Denise has spent more than forty years helping them discover otherwise.

She helps people see what their homes could become.

furniture or guiding them through a complete home remodel, Denise has always believed the goal is the same: creating a home that reflects the people who live there and becomes the place they most want to be.

Because she doesn't simply create beautiful things.

She sees possibilities.

And she believes great design isn't about spending the most money.

It's about creating a home that feels like the best place in the world to come back to every day.
