As a designer living in a glorious coastal region, I have found my designs are so often inspired by the beauty that surrounds

 

me. The vast marshes in their grassy greens and golden yellows, the bright blue skies with big puffy white clouds, the gentle

 

blues in the waters and the soft sandy tones.... it's hard to express the way it all makes you feel. When I have down time I

 

enjoy expressing these emotions by trying to recreate this beauty in my paintings. The result is paintings that are loose and

 

not overly realistic, happy and fun, like a great day at the beach. 

 

 

 Although at times I may do something different, I focus mostly on marsh and beach scenes, as well as local birds, boats, and

 

sometimes people. These are the things that fill my days.
